Meet Kathy Prior
Kathy Prior’s Interior Creations was established in 2002. What started as a small business quickly grew into a full service design firm. Kathy has a passion for color and is skilled in all aspects of design ranging from paint, lighting, and furnishings. Kathy creates spaces with function and beauty, designed with a realistic timeline and budget.
Because of her open communication style, Kathy is able to quickly determine her clients' design preferences and design the perfect house for them. Her clients feel confident because of her knowledge, warmth, and experience.
She is a Registered Buyer at Dallas Market Center, and she has developed a network of vendors and suppliers along with her years of experience. Kathy taps into the wealth of resources she has cultivated to source beautiful items for her clients’ homes.
As an active member of the DFW chapter of the Interior Design Society (IDS), Kathy continually expands her network of resources and stays informed of the latest trends. She regularly attends industry market events, which enables her to expertly guide her clients.

Kathy Prior’s Interior Creations is centrally located in Plano, Texas and offers high-end interior design services to Dallas and North Dallas communities including Plano, Allen, Frisco, McKinney, and Prosper.

Kathy has been awarded a Best of Houzz award in Service for the past ten consecutive years. In addition, she has won multiple awards from Frisco and Plano Star Local Media as the Reader’s Choice Best Interior Designer.
